Little Things to Upgrade Your Lifestyle

Constance Larson

Everyone from 7others can inject some style into their life with just a few simple lifestyle changes that turn even the drabbest days into better ones. It doesn’t take a lot to add some glamour to your life. Glamour doesn’t have to be expensive. Glamour can be sensual. Glamour can be in the mind. I’m going to describe to you simple, cheap, easy, and small changes that anyone can do to live a jet-set, mogul, Hollywood rich girl sipping champagne lifestyle.

Little Things

One thing everybody can do to upgrade their lifestyle is create their own little haven for themselves. Everybody needs a place to relax and unwind and you don’t need sheets from Bergdorf Goodman to make your bed look nice. Simply making your bed, even if you use sheets from the dollar store, using coordinating colors will make your bed welcoming and you deserve it! The prints or patterns don’t have to be matchy-matchy, just as long as the same colors are in each pillowcase and sheet. Coming home at the end of a long day to a beautifully made bed will make you feel like a pampered princess!

White linen, ladies. I don’t mean the old lady perfume. I mean plain, solid, plush, cushy, white towels. You can get these at any dollar store or resale outlet like TJ Maxx or Marshalls cheap. Roll them up spa style and display them in your bathroom for a rich, clean look. Add a few tea lights and voila! You’ve created your own mini-getaway for less than thirty dollars. Now that you have all these new clean white towels, take all your old ones to your local animal shelter. They can use them and you’ll leave feeling good about yourself!

Nobody has tons of money these days to drop on expensive flower arrangements so try this quick, inexpensive solution. For mere dollars, you can pop some lemons or grapefruits in a large bowl and add a long-lasting, rich simplicity to your decor. It’s a simple and natural solution that adds color, life, and zest to your decor. Not only will it smell phenomenal, but you can double your pleasure by placing them in front of a mirror.

Is anyone else as fed up as I am about the high cost of eating out? Save your money and eat better by carrying healthy snacks with you wherever you go. All you need are some brown rice crackers and a few packets of dry miso soup, some almonds, protein bars, and string cheese. You’ll need a cup of hot water to make the miso soup but that’s all. These are all delicious and provide a great energy boost!

Here’s a thought. Just completely getting rid of your curtains and leaving your windows uncovered will trick your eyes into thinking your pads got depth and allow you to marvel in the beauty of the natural landscape outdoors. It could also let a psycho murderer killer observe you as you go about your daily activities, but at least only the stars in the Hollywood hills have to worry about that!

Splurge on a set of soft sheets that will make you want to fall into your bed at night. Don’t bother paying for anything over a five hundred threat count – it doesn’t get much softer than that. Next, cover your bed with a fluffy down duvet, a heavy wool blanket, or a soft cotton quilt. Then casually toss a gorgeous throw onto the foot of the bed. Now, stand in front of a full length mirror, narrow your eyes, and murmur, “I’m the best you’ll ever have.”

Practice rearranging your things. Feng shui is the art of placement. When your things are in order, you can relax because you will know that you are prepared for anything and organized. Your outer environment reflects your inner environment so if you want to feel serene, create a calm, soothing environment. The stress relief you will get from being organized is totally worth it!

I hope I’ve given you some ideas to help you inject a little champagne and caviar into your beer budget lifestyle, and remember cheap is sexy!
